After the very successful first Buffalo Mass Mob at Saint Adalbert Basilica, the Mass Mob crew is pleased to announce its plans for the next Buffalo Mass Mob taking place on January 12, 2014. This time around we are going to ask the public to choose the church we are going to attend.
How? What we are asking is that between now and December 9, 2013, the public submit their suggestions via an online form at the end of this post. The top three most suggested churches will move on to a final round of voting by the public at large beginning on December 10 and ending on December 17, 2013. The church with the most votes will be the next the Buffalo Mass Mob attends.
The rules: Churches must be in the City of Buffalo and the church has to be a Catholic Church.
In the future, the Buffalo Mass Mob will be opened up to other faiths and religions and be opened up to churches outside of the city. Also, look for different formats as to how churches are selected in future Mass Mobs.
Please share this page! If you have any questions, please contact us.
Here is the form to add your suggestion:
VOTING IS NOW OVER – ON 12/10/2014 WE WILL RELEASE CHURCH NAMES TO MOVE ON TO FINAL PHASE OF VOTING!
Thank you for your submissions!
Why does it have to be a catholic church? Our church is Protestant. We accept everyone. St. John’s United Church of Christ 85 Amherst Street, Buffalo, 14207. We are an inner city church in Black Rock. We are 167 years old. We use to have well over 150 people attend, but as years go by we are lucky to get 25 people. It would be great to see people packed in our pews. Hope to hear back with an answer. Thank you very much.
Hi Brian…we are planning to have other churches and not only Catholic in the future. I would love to personally come and visit the church.
