On April 15, 2018, Buffalo Mass Mob 26 was held at Our Lady of Hope Church. Unfortunately, there was an ice storm that day. Though the Mass happened, the attendance that day wasn’t what we were used to. It was decided that day that we would return in future for another Mass Mob at the church.
Fast forward four years and a pandemic later, Buffalo Mass Mob is finally returning to Our Lady of Hope in what will be our 40th Mass Mob. It will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2022 for the parish’s 11:00 A.M. Mass.
The church is excited to have us back. We are excited to fulfill our promise of returning.

The former Annunciation Church became Our Lady of Hope in 2009 after merging with Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Our Lady of Loretto parishes. The church has seen a dramatic influx of immigrants from Asia, North and South America, Africa, and the Caribbean who have made the West Side of Buffalo their home. The Gothic Revival style church was built in 1900 and dedicated in 1901.
