Buffalo Mass Mob to hold Emergency Mass Mob on Sunday, August 20th at All Saints Church — Join us

The Buffalo Mass Mob is a grassroots movement that aims to draw attention to historic churches in the city of Buffalo and Western New York by bringing large crowds of people to attend worship services at a selected church on a specific day. The idea is to support the churches that are struggling with low attendance or financial challenges and to celebrate and raise awareness of the rich architectural and cultural heritage of the region’s churches.

Buffalo Mass Mob selected All Saints R.C. Church in Buffalo’s Riverside neighborhood as their next destination after it was announced in July that the parish had made the decision to put all the properties on the parish campus up for sale. “We decided to do an Emergency Mass Mob at the church after the story hit the news and members from the parish reached out to us,” said Christopher Byrd, Buffalo Mass Mob Organizer. Byrd continued, “It’s at the core of what we do with Mass Mob – bring attention to Buffalo’s churches and help give them a boost in the pews and the collection basket. All Saints Church definitely needs that.”

That’s why the Buffalo Mass Mob is inviting the community to join us for the next Mass Mob at All Saints Church on Sunday, August 20th, for the 10:30 am Mass. All Saints Church is a historic parish in Buffalo’s Riverside neighborhood that has been serving the community for almost 112 years. However, lately, they have been facing some challenges, such as aging infrastructure, declining membership, and rising costs. They need our help to keep their doors open and their ministries alive for generations to come.

Buffalo Mass Mob wants the Western New York community to show All Saints Church some love and solidarity by filling their pews and collection baskets. Let’s make this Mass Mob a huge success and a blessing for All Saints Church.

All Saints Church is located at 205 Esser Avenue in Buffalo. More information about All Saints Church can be found at their website, https://www.allsaintsrcchurch.com/.
