Please join us on Sunday, March 22, for Buffalo Mass Mob 56 at St. John Vianney Church in Orchard Park for the 9:30 AM Mass.
St. John Vianney Church has been a spiritual anchor of Orchard Park since 1958, born from the determination of families who carved a new parish out of open fields and hope. The first Mass was celebrated outdoors on a makeshift altar that summer, and by November the community was worshiping inside a brand‑new church—still without pews, but already filled with life.
For decades, St. John Vianney grew into a bustling parish campus with a beloved school, vibrant ministries, and a reputation for welcoming anyone who walked through its doors. Generations learned, prayed, and celebrated here, shaping a parish identity built on service, hospitality, and steady faith.
In recent years, the people of St. John Vianney have shown the same resilience that built the parish in the first place. Faced with closures and uncertainty, parishioners rallied together—praying, organizing, and fighting to preserve the church that has carried their baptisms, weddings, funerals, and everyday moments of grace.
Today, St. John Vianney stands as a testament to Orchard Park’s spirit: a community that refuses to let its sacred spaces fade, and a parish whose story is still being written—one Mass, one gathering, one act of faith at a time. Buffalo Mass Mob hopes to add to that story with Mass Mob 56. Join us!
