Thank You, Buffalo. Thank you, St. Stan’s. Thank you, Chopin Singing Society. St. Stanislaus Church’s 150th Anniversary Mass was really special. Long live the Mother Church of Buffalo’s Polonia!

Going to St. Stanislaus Church for their anniversary Mass gets to the core of why we started Buffalo Mass Mob. Buffalo is full of beautiful heritage churches. Churches built by immigrant communities who were drawn to the city in hope of a better life in America. St. Stanislaus was the first church of Buffalo’s emerging Polish community in the city’s Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. At its height, there were over 25,000 families who called the church their spiritual home. The church is an important part of Buffalo’s history. It’s a living breathing connection to the past.

It’s our continued goal to raise awareness about Buffalo’s historic churches and the need to support them. We will be announcing our next Mass Mob soon. Join us.
